Forth entry of the day! hahah sorry.. but this is the latest one…. :p

Today the whole school is keeping the same secret… all behaving so mysteriously… from me!! haha

They are doing baby shower for a mom to be She is a very pretty mom hehe.. and i felt the baby kick in a tummy for the first time hehe its so COOL! Its so AMAZING!! hahahah The feeling is just awesome.. i will not forget that feeling :p

And the second part is my farewell…

They have some speech… all thanking me.. making me feel so embarrassed… I was really just doing my job and my hobby is to disturb the kids. :p

Its been quite a while since i have update this blog… Still in CNY mood.. still got too many things to do.. and whew.. cant seem to get the time and haha feeling lazy about it. Darn!

During chinese new year, ate too much good food and cookies till i feeling alittle unwell.. throat rather dry and starts to cough in the morning >.< Assignment coming up… bloody java programming which i have long throw back to my poly lecturer.. and obviously now has thrown back to me.. stress me up till i don’t have the mood to do my weekly jogging.. trying to find things to calm myself down.. whew! Ok i believe i will be arighty XD

My work is fine. Goes on as usual… so usual that every CNY my workplace would always engage the same ah pek lion dance to dance for the children and bless the office.

They are old bunch of people… the lion also old… their stance is forever looping around the same dance steps… whew…

I have not eyes to see… i left even before they start their first dance.. However, the children really enjoyed it.

Heheh yes! You heard it right… Its  I Hate Valentines Day Cookies… Made and given to me to try by a very handsome High school teacher.  :))))

The taste is good and the shape is cute!! hahah. Its a heart shape cookie but its bitten off by someone?

They can be extremely short-tempered, however. Other people have great respect for them, but sometimes tiger people come into conflict with older people or those in authority. They are courageous and powerful.

There lived an old wise man in a village. He thought it was the panic in people that made the monster so bold and furious. Thus the old man asked people to organize together and to conquer the monster by means of beating drums and gongs, burning bamboo, and lighting fireworks in purpose of making large noises to threaten the hateful monster. When he told people about the idea, everybody agreed on it.

At a moonless and freezing cold night, the monster, Nian, appeared again. The moment it opened its mouth at people, burst out the frightening noises and fire made by people, and wherever the monster went, it was forced to back off by the terrible noises. The monster couldn’t stop running until he fell down with exhaustion. Then people jumped up and killed the evil monster. Savage as the monster was, he lost in the end under the efforts from the cooperation of people.

Since then, people have kept the tradition by beating drums and gongs, and lighting fireworks at the coldest day in winter to drive the imagined monsters away and to celebrate the victory over it. Today, Nian refers to the New Year’s day or the Spring Festival. People often say Guo Nian, which means ‘live the festival.’ Furthermore, Nian also means the year. For an example, the Chinese often greet each other by saying Xin Nian Hao, which means Happy New Year! Xin means new and Hao means good.

Pastor Rony Tan’s recent brush with ISD had him taken down all his videos. For those living in a cave, this so called religious leader (he founded a church with 12k members) had staged-presentations with ex-taoist/ex-buddhist members of his church. In those presentations, he has demeaned and insulted buddhism and taoism. His blanted attacks didnt go unnoticed as someone uploaded those videos from his church website to a local forum. Netizens were of course angry and vocal. He has recently apologized to the local religious leaders and they have accepted his sincere apologies. But what i wanna know is WHY?
WHY the initial actions? Mr Rony Tan, you might have made a mistake and apologized for it. But im sure at least 1 of your 12k church members will be asking the same question. WHY?

Ho ho…. so dear dear and I finally get to watch the famous Avatar movie in 3D… It is still showing even like almost 2 months? Yes it is rare that actually the Cinema still showing the same movie for that long period of time.

Why is it so good then?

Have you ever wonder what’s going on a person’s mind while watching a Movie or Drama? I read it why is it so during one of my Film modules in poly dayz… 

According to the findings, a person will usually imagine himself/herself as one of the character (one of the mains actually) while watching the movie.

In this movie, the facial expression of each characters is really really fantastic! I am very sure they capture the attentions of the audiences. The heroic way of the main character sure make everyone wants to be like him.

They have big big eyes where you can almost ’see thru’ them on how they feel. The great expression on the face and the hissing sound like a fierce wild cat expressed during fights or, when they are being challenged. The way they weep or cry painfully.

The dialogue are light and cute in a way. I love the phrase, “You’re like a baby! Making noise.. don’t know what to do..” Lolz

The story rather easy to follow… easy storytelling… nice CG… (Love the forest light up itself at night)

A Sci-fi movie plus bits of love story.. bits of warfare… bits of drama and comedy and a plain white guy become the hero of a native tribe :p

All these sure enough to capture the audiences interest to carry on to watch the story builds up.

I enjoyed the movie.. not entirely because of the 3D effect.. but the way they write the story and how the CG are made… especially the forest.

Valentine’s Day is on the 14th Feb… However, this year that is chinese new year first day.

I cant break myself off during that day for a nice dinner with my dear. And usually weeks before CNY i will be rather busy.

And so, we both agreed to have Vday celebration yesterday instead

 Dear drives down to Yishun dam. Its a part of Seletar Reservoir. We already bought our food earlier on for the mini picnic. hehe :p

We enjoyed the food… enjoyed the breeze… and most importantly.. we enjoyed each other side by side under the moonlight
