Finally finished the 2 hrs long smallville finale. After 10 seasons, finally a proper ending. For those who haven’t glimpsed at a single ep of smallville, it’s basically the mythology of Superman, growing up in his hometown called…Smallville. Anyway great ending and they played the superman theme song at the end…something superman fans would appreciate. Time to zzz, blogging from iPad 2 
[Xbox360] GALGUN(ćććāćć) PV
I tried these 2 xbox live japan game demos, Catherine & Gal Gun (they gave a free month of xbox live gold membership so i could download those demos).
First up is Gal Gun, its a mashup of an on-rails shooting game+love adventure game. Quite a unique game basically. Ill do the mini review for catherine demo next post.
Storyline
Simple story about this highschool guy who got shot several times by a cupid in training accidently… and this made the females in his high school to all fall in love with him on first sight. You control him and suppose to shot the love arrows to counter their love and advances, and ultimately get the girl of your dreams. 6/10
Gameplay
Its an on-rail shooter, so u can’t control the movement. Basically aim and shoot the girls till they faint when they throw themselves upon you. There are some adventure elements in the game, when you interact with the girl of your dreams. Right/Wrong choice options might affect the course of the game. A complaint in the demo is that the loading time are absolutely horrendous ~20-24 sec between scenes. But a recent twitter from the developer mentioned that the retail version has better loading speed ~9 sec (without HDD install) and ~ 5 sec (with HDD install), so thats a relief. Playing with the controller seems rather natural… i can’t really imagine using kinect to play it. But xbox 360 doesnt have a light gun peripheral anyway if im not mistaken. 7/10
Graphics
The main characters are colorful and lively. Standard anime style graphics, nothing too fancy or out of this world. Characters are pretty generic japanese school gal kind of look. The usual panty upskirts are prominent in the game, so guys looking for fan service should better be on the lookout for this game. 7/10
Sound
Nothing memorable about the music but its catchy,repeatable and anime-like. It has a nice opening anime movie in the demo. 6/10
Overall
Its a new interesting genre which i believe will spawn many sequels regardless of how well this sells. Hardcore lightgun shooter fans should steer clear of this though, its more suitable for the panty loving casual playing otaku. (6.5/10)

Started off the new year with in camp training…was kinda fun, learnt how to use a handcuff and anti terrorism studies. Ends this Tuesday. Next ICT is in Sept this year! So fast sis
