Today my work place is proud to invite kids all the way from Cambodia to perform Cambodia traditional dance.
They are performing to raise money for their home in Cambodia. They are kids from the Sok Sabay Association. Its not really an orphanage but rather its a shelter for kids who are in grave danger or in need of help just to survive.
They rescue kids aged 5-21. Provide the basic needs, educations and the feel of being as one family.
Their dance performances are excellent. Love the way they move. A little similar to Thailand dance. They are pretty graceful dancer which made us all wanna help them by donating some money to them and/or also helped by purchasing the Calendar at $15.
I bought one. Hehe… its not much but hope can provide some meals for a kid
You can help too by visiting their site and see the ways you can help…

Last Wednesday, Grade 2 organized a charity sales.
The sales items were all 2nd hand goods donated by the parents, teachers and students themselves. Mostly were toys, books, children accessory and children costume. Some special stalls like nail art (painted both by the parents and students), magic show, puppet show and games (all 3 run by the students) were setup to generate more sales and heat up the fun at the charity sales.
The items were going as low as 20cents each. Average was around $1-$2. The highest cost was a wooden children play castle going on bid from $15. Some parents also baked cookies and brownies to sell at the sales.
I bought some items in support of this charity. Dear also kindly join in and support too!
Thank you dear *muaacks* And so, i also bought some items on behalf of him. ^^
According to the Grade 2 teachers, they raised to an astounding amount of $1200. All the hardwork by the Grade 2 teachers, parents and students are well pay off. Well done.
All money collected on that day goes to the Cambodian Orphanage.
The following week, High School Students and Teachers will be going to Cambodia to do some charity work and they will bring along that money there too.
Here are the items that i buy on that day for myself and behalf of my dear :p
