Just checked out this movie with dear. Its not bad overall. It has nice parkour action scenes and acting by handsome/pretty cast. The costumes and sets looks great, capture the persia setting well. It has some references of the popular action console game of the same name and potrays the prince very well as its alter-ego in game. Netizens have complained about the “white-washing” of hollywood movies…meaning shouldn’t the prince of persia be persian and not a caucasian white dude. But i guess this is gonna be a common recurrences for most movies to come. I for one is looking out how badly the Tekken Movie would look like, regardless of its fairly done trailer.

Ho ho…. so dear dear and I finally get to watch the famous Avatar movie in 3D… It is still showing even like almost 2 months? Yes it is rare that actually the Cinema still showing the same movie for that long period of time.
Why is it so good then?
Have you ever wonder what’s going on a person’s mind while watching a Movie or Drama? I read it why is it so during one of my Film modules in poly dayz…Â
According to the findings, a person will usually imagine himself/herself as one of the character (one of the mains actually) while watching the movie.
In this movie, the facial expression of each characters is really really fantastic! I am very sure they capture the attentions of the audiences. The heroic way of the main character sure make everyone wants to be like him.
They have big big eyes where you can almost ’see thru’ them on how they feel. The great expression on the face and the hissing sound like a fierce wild cat expressed during fights or, when they are being challenged. The way they weep or cry painfully.
The dialogue are light and cute in a way. I love the phrase, “You’re like a baby! Making noise.. don’t know what to do..” Lolz
The story rather easy to follow… easy storytelling… nice CG… (Love the forest light up itself at night)
A Sci-fi movie plus bits of love story.. bits of warfare… bits of drama and comedy and a plain white guy become the hero of a native tribe :p
All these sure enough to capture the audiences interest to carry on to watch the story builds up.
I enjoyed the movie.. not entirely because of the 3D effect.. but the way they write the story and how the CG are made… especially the forest.
