And so… we’ve got a rare chance to visit Universal Studios at night at a price of $20 and plus free $10 food voucher
hehe cos my dear’s company is having some staff thanking night. Thanks dear
We reached there around 6plus.. close to 7.. then Q at the entrance to be among the first to get in at 7. The Q and the crowd built up very quickly.. whew.. while waiting.. we looked at the park map thinking where to take the ride first or where shall we have our free dinner. Once ready to get in.. we started to snap some photos but many people beat us to it. Lolz… its really taxing to take good pics without unknow people being captured in our lovely photos. So in the end, almost wanna give up taking pics.
Shrek4D is the nearest attraction ride from the entrance.. thus we decided to try this ride first. Little did we know.. all rides will only be starting after 8pm. We have to wait for an hour then we can actually enjoy universal studios. Alittle disappointed and pretty hungry.. thought want to have our meals first but saw many people rushing to the only attraction that opens at that moment.. we decided we should also go and join in the crowd.
Its a good thing we decided to join the Q and get to this attraction, Waterworld, which only showing once that night… and the only one that opens at 730pm.. everyone in the park was flocking over to this show. We got into the Waterworld arena.. found a good spot.. seated and waited for half an hour.. or more.. for the show to start.. At that time, our tummy’s little devil was already acting up. We were so hungry. I really can eat a cow then. haha..
Ok shows about to start… there goes the CEO or whosoever.. was giving a welcome speech and thanking the company staffs. We waited another 7mins? Finally show starts… Beginning of it was really light. Making the whole crowd (3000 strong) to laugh and cheer or jeer at each other.. just like my school sports day! lol. rather fun and i enjoy it hehe.
Ok.. final finally… the show started… The cast did the whole show very well.. lots of gymnastics stances, gunshots, explosive blast, waster splashing (poor blue area people) everywhere.. Fantastic act.
Towards the end.. well.. it takes about 10more sec for the whole thing to end.. about half of the people already got up and move on to the other attractions.. time check.. its almost 820pm.. Again.. thinking we should go for our dinner..
we walk pass Sherk.. looks like not many people had got in… ok.. lets go in for this one before dinner then. So dear and i went in and start to Q up again… in Far Far Away land.
The interior design is pretty cool. Its a fairy tales land.. Lol.. before entering the 4d theater… we must do the ” There will be flogging” exercise. Haha funny… and so we were allow to go in the 4D theater after saying numerous times of ‘Oh No!’ in respond to the flogging word.
I was screaming alittle here and there when things tickle my feet hahah and having the donkey sneezing at your face was really yuckie. haha. I am just alittle dissapointed with the seat. Was hoping more sudden and frightful movement hehe.
Ok end of show.. its TIME TO EAT… i am really hungry >.<
We went in to Goldilocks to answer the noble call of our rumbling tummy. I was too hungry to think what to eat so dear went straight to order and help me to decide what to have for dinner
hehe. Lucky we were there early.. again… super long Q and massive people flowing in within mintues. And thank god i got a seat within 10 sec.
The food portion quite large in quantity and the quality not bad too… or maybe i was hungry? Hehe anway… one set meal cost $10… and so dinner free for us
nice! Again.. who says there is no free meal in the world?
Almost finishing the dinner, I met my dear’s friend. Got to learn that most ride/attractions closed for the rest of the night. O_o oooh no… whats the use of coming to universal studio at $20 then…. arrugh
After dinner we decided to try give Jurassic Park a try. Guess what… its really closed… its not opening during night time. And the only attractions we haven try and its open was the Junior Roller Coaster ride. Mummy ride was opened but closed again due to technical fault.
Hoping it will resume its ride, we head straight to the Mummy ride. Its really closed. They still trying hard to resolve. Well its ok… surrounding of it actually was a nice place to take lots nice photo shots. We took plenty shots there and return to check if the ride resume.
And we are lucky enough
Its starting to work again.. woohoo~
The interior walk way to the ride platform was pretty cool. You really felt like walking inside the pyramid. Ready for treasure hunting.
We got the first row of seat for the ride… hehe.. its was cold.. dark… without you knowing it.. the car moved backwards.. and turned.. and mummy pop out to scare you! haha.. i was not scared.. cos my dear protected me.. and the fear came when suddenly the car stopped. Think you can guess whats coming next. Hehe.. i keep screaming just to scare off people sitting rows behind me :p and here comes the series of big drops and steep curves and turns
haha fun!!
I want to do it again! :p
So time almost up.. 10plus now.. we quickly snap more photos and off we go to get home.
Tho whole trip was short… tho only went to three attractions… but time spent with my boyfriend… priceless
Wooo and i bought some goodies from Universal Studio
oops.. i was a victim of the facebook fraud.

well… maybe lets just go donate to the correct source then…

So much so for my New Year wish for no disaster to happen in the world.
On January 12, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti.
The capital city was devastated.
Due to poor structural design and construction, majority of buildings collapsed which result of high death toll and heavy damage.
Desperate and wounded Haitians are trying to get help but rescues and aid coming in slow.
This morning newspaper reported that there are increasing number of looters. They looted the collapsed house for food and basic needs which all will be gone by now, 3rd day of the quake. They also robbed and kill, leaving bodies on the streets.
There is a snapshot photo showing a guy pulling out a dead body out from a coffin. It was written that later he drove away with the coffin.
It is just so sad for them. Its so hard to judge them whats wrong whats right. They just want to live on.

The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month marks the signing of the Armistice, on 11th November 1918, to signal the end of World War One.
At 11 am on 11 November 1918 the guns of the Western Front fell silent after more than four years continuous warfare.
What is Remembrance Day?
Remembrance Day is on 11 November. It is a special day set aside to remember all those men and women who were killed during the two World Wars and other conflicts. At one time the day was known as Armistice Day and was renamed Remembrance Day after the Second World War.
Remembrance Sunday is held on the second Sunday in November, which is usually the Sunday nearest to 11 November. Special services are held at war memorials and churches all over Britain.
Poppy Day
Remembrance Day is also known as Poppy Day, because it is traditional to wear an artificial poppy. They are sold by the Royal British Legion, a charity dedicated to helping war veterans.
Two minute silence
At 11am on each Remembrance Sunday a two minute silence is observed at war memorials and other public spaces across the UK.
The First Two Minute Silence in London (11th November 1919) as reported in the Manchester Guardian, 12th November 1919.
‘The first stroke of eleven produced a magical effect.
The tram cars glided into stillness, motors ceased to cough and fume, and stopped dead, and the mighty-limbed dray horses hunched back upon their loads and stopped also, seeming to do it of their own volition.
Someone took off his hat, and with a nervous hesitancy the rest of the men bowed their heads also. Here and there an old soldier could be detected slipping unconsciously into the posture of ‘attention’. An elderly woman, not far away, wiped her eyes, and the man beside her looked white and stern. Everyone stood very still … The hush deepened. It had spread over the whole city and become so pronounced as to impress one with a sense of audibility. It was a silence which was almost pain … And the spirit of memory brooded over it all.’
Remembrance Day in Singapore
In Singapore, this event is of special significance as it commemorates the sacrifices made by the men and women of the Commonwealth forces against the Japanese in World War II. Among those remembered are members of the Singapore Volunteer Corps, the Malay Regiment, Dalforce(1), Force Z(2) and Operation Rimau(3).
It is held at the Kranji War Memorial, where the graves of 4,464 men and women lie and the names of 23,943 others are inscribed on the 12 columns. The ceremony is held on Remembrance Sunday (the Sunday closest to Remembrance Day) at 7:30am. Attended by grassroots and religious leaders, uniformed groups, delegations from the SAF, Ex-Services Association of Singapore, SAF Veterans League and Red Cross, the general public and most importantly, the surviving veterans and loved ones, it is a solemn occasion where prayers are held and tributes are paid to the brave men and women who had given their lives in the defence of Singapore.

Now Singapore is having Great Singapore Sales o… Guess that include durians going on sales too ^^ Mamma Mia~
So, there i am helping mom to choose the durains. Within the given hour, each customer is limited to purchase 10 durians.
As you know Singaporeans have the “cannot lose” (kiasu) great spirits. Most people already standing-by there holding baskets and ready to “pounce” on the durians.
And so i carry on “fighting” with the uncles and aunties just for my beloved mommy. Seriously, tho they are old, their hands are fast and their eyes are sharp at choosing the durians. They take the durian, shake it.. smell it.. good ones throw into their basket.. bad ones just anyhow throw and ready to grab another one.
One bravo aunty throw the durian and it landed on my right toes.. Ouch! @%$^@#$ now I have 3 bloody holes on my toes. Thank god those are small durians. Whew~! I have no time to get even with that aunty as very soon i will be buried by all the uncles and aunties. They keep coming in…. >.<
Soon after i have the perfect 10 durians (plus some 50cents durians).. pay up and go home to share the victory with my family ^O^

By the way, did I mention that those durians you have to open on your own? My bro had great workout by opening them for us. Hahha.
The flesh inside all pretty good
lucky~
