Did school teach you how to run a business? Well i guess all of us have learn something about starting up business and how to go about it. An introduction about it maybe?

Have you ever put it to practice? I never had the chance.

The Grade 5 students are now learning how we organize ourselves. The topic they touched on is Doing a Business.

Yesterday, they were lucky enough to start up their first business and making lots of profit… Money money..

And I am unlucky enough to be the one at loss. >.<

The grade 5 students done an excellent job in keeping the whole place buzzing up with people. They have lots of ideas for the business.

Food and drinks stalls are common. They have stalls they sell services like making cards and frame, let you hold a rabbit for $1 a min etc. Others have items to sell like handmade bracelets, comics, flower pen, etc.. Well, they actually setup few game stalls.

The best of all, a group of student organized a soccer tournament. People have to pay to sign up and take part. I did my part :p  Will be playing this coming Monday morning. Wish me luck and hope not to pick my shoes at the other end of the field XD

Here are some of the pic taken on that day :) Enjoy these lovely photos

The profits made on that day will go to charity of the kids choice :)

Last Wednesday, Grade 2 organized a charity sales.

The sales items were all 2nd hand goods donated by the parents, teachers and students themselves. Mostly were toys, books, children accessory and children costume. Some special stalls like nail art (painted both by the parents and students), magic show, puppet show and games (all 3 run by the students) were setup to generate more sales and heat up the fun at the charity sales.

The items were going as low as 20cents each. Average was around $1-$2. The highest cost was a wooden children play castle going on bid from $15. Some parents also baked cookies and brownies to sell at the sales.

I bought some items in support of this charity. Dear also kindly join in and support too! :D Thank you dear *muaacks* And so, i also bought some items on behalf of him. ^^

According to the Grade 2 teachers, they raised to an astounding amount of $1200. All the hardwork by the Grade 2 teachers, parents and students are well pay off. Well done. :D

All money collected on that day goes to the Cambodian Orphanage.

The following week, High School Students and Teachers will be going to Cambodia to do some charity work and they will bring along that money there too. :)

Here are the items that i buy on that day for myself and behalf of my dear :p
